San Francisco 49ers

NFC West · 2-0

Brock Purdy was nearly perfect in a 35-13 win over Miami, going 20 of 22 for 287 yards with two touchdown passes and a rushing score. Christian McCaffrey ran for two more touchdowns and George Kittle caught his first since returning from an Achilles injury. San Francisco has now won both games by 20 or more, a first in franchise history.

Seattle Seahawks

NFC West · 2-0

With Sam Darnold out, Drew Lock made his first start since 2024 and threw three touchdowns, all to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, in a 31-7 rout at Arizona. Smith-Njigba finished with 9 catches for 155 yards. Mike Macdonald's defense held the Cardinals to 151 total yards, and the Seahawks have now beaten Arizona 10 straight times.

Buffalo Bills

AFC East · 2-0

Josh Allen accounted for five touchdowns in a 41-31 win over Detroit, throwing for 248 yards and three scores while running for 69 yards and two more. James Cook carried 21 times for 135 yards and sealed it with a 1-yard run inside three minutes. Two games, two wins, and the offense looks every bit as dangerous as advertised.

Kansas City Chiefs

AFC West · 2-0

Patrick Mahomes threw for 382 yards and three touchdowns and Harrison Butker won it with a 40-yard field goal in overtime, 33-30 over Indianapolis. Travis Kelce went for 101 yards and a score, his first 100-yard game with a 300-yard Mahomes performance since 2023. Kansas City is 2-0 after starting 0-2 a year ago.

Minnesota Vikings

NFC North · 2-0

The defense is carrying this team. Minnesota won 9-3 at Chicago without scoring a touchdown, sacking Caleb Williams four times with Dallas Turner getting two, including one on the final play. Carson Wentz was efficient rather than spectacular with Kyler Murray still in concussion protocol, and Aaron Jones ran 23 times for 105 yards.

Cincinnati Bengals

AFC North · 2-0

Cincinnati did not allow a touchdown in a 20-6 win at Houston, ending a 65-game streak of giving one up. Joe Burrow played through back tightness, took five sacks and still threw two touchdowns to Ja'Marr Chase, who finished with 7 catches for 75 yards. The remade defense is the reason this team is 2-0.

Philadelphia Eagles

NFC East · 2-0

Jalen Hurts threw two interceptions and still found Darius Cooper for a 3-yard touchdown with 9 seconds left to beat Tennessee 24-20. It was his eighth fourth quarter comeback since 2023. The injuries are the concern: Saquon Barkley took a stinger on the opening play and Dallas Goedert hurt his knee in the second quarter.

Las Vegas Raiders

AFC West · 2-0

Nobody saw this coming. Kirk Cousins threw three touchdowns for the second straight week in a 26-14 win at the Chargers, joining Ken Stabler as the only Raiders quarterbacks with three scoring passes in each of the first two games. Tre Tucker had 119 receiving yards and rookie Hezekiah Masses picked off Justin Herbert twice.

Jacksonville Jaguars

AFC South · 1-1

The No. 1 spot lasted exactly one week. Jacksonville led 13-3 in the third quarter at Denver and lost 20-13, with Trevor Lawrence held to 189 yards and an interception after his four touchdown opener. The defense kept this close, but an offense that scored 34 in Week 1 managed one touchdown in the mile high air.

Denver Broncos

AFC West · 1-1

Bo Nix answered the Monday night disaster with 288 yards and a touchdown in a 20-13 comeback over Jacksonville, his fifth career win when trailing by double digits. Jaylen Waddle caught 8 passes for 138 yards and Riley Moss intercepted Lawrence to flip the game. The running back room is thin with J.K. Dobbins and R.J. Harvey both hurting.

Los Angeles Rams

NFC West · 1-1

Matthew Stafford threw four touchdowns in a 28-6 Monday night rout of the Giants, passing Philip Rivers for sixth on the career touchdown list. Davante Adams caught 8 passes for 195 yards and two scores, and Los Angeles outgained New York 481 to 182. Aaron Donald made his season debut with a tackle for loss on third down.

Baltimore Ravens

AFC North · 1-1

Baltimore let a double digit fourth quarter lead get away at home, losing 24-17 to New Orleans when Julian Blackmon picked off Lamar Jackson with 13 seconds left. Jackson threw for 235 yards and Derrick Henry ran for a first half score, but the offense went quiet late. Ronnie Stanley left with a toe injury and Zay Flowers was unavailable.

New England Patriots

AFC East · 1-1

The defense was the story in a 20-3 win over Pittsburgh. Elijah Ponder returned a fumble 19 yards for a touchdown, Christian Barmore strip sacked Aaron Rodgers, and Christian Gonzalez held D.K. Metcalf to 27 yards. Drake Maye managed the game with 208 yards, and TreVeyon Henderson broke a 39-yard touchdown run.

Carolina Panthers

NFC South · 1-1

A 34-3 beatdown in Atlanta was the most complete game Carolina has played in years. Bryce Young threw for 287 yards and three touchdowns, and Devin Lloyd had a sack, two interceptions and a pick six, joining Charles Woodson and Zach Brown as the only players in 20 years to do all three in one game. Five takeaways total.

Detroit Lions

NFC North · 1-1

Detroit scored 31 in Buffalo and still lost by 10. Jared Goff was excellent with 327 yards and four touchdowns, and Amon-Ra St. Brown caught 9 passes for 142 yards and two scores. The problem is the other side: the Lions have now given up 41 points after letting New Orleans erase a 21-0 lead in Week 1. The offense is not the issue.

Dallas Cowboys

NFC East · 1-1

Dak Prescott was surgical in a 37-20 win over Washington, completing 26 of 31 for 279 yards and four touchdowns while setting the franchise record with his 249th career scoring pass. CeeDee Lamb caught 8 balls for 153 yards and two scores. Dallas has now won 20 straight at home against NFC East opponents.

Chicago Bears

NFC North · 1-1

From 59 points to 3. The Bears managed one field goal in a 9-3 loss to Minnesota, a 56-point week to week drop that ranks among the largest in league history. Caleb Williams threw for 138 yards with an interception before leaving in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury, and Tyson Bagent finished the game. His status defines Chicago's next month.

Cleveland Browns

AFC North · 1-1

Deshaun Watson was outstanding in a 23-19 win at Tampa Bay, completing 24 of 30 for 238 yards and two touchdowns with a 121.9 rating. Rookie Denzel Boston caught 5 passes for 95 yards and a score, becoming the first Browns receiver since Andre' Davis to find the end zone in each of his first two games. Last week's bottom team just climbed 14 spots.

Green Bay Packers

NFC North · 1-1

Green Bay avoided its first 0-2 start since 2006, but needed overtime to beat the Jets 20-17 on a 26-yard field goal. Jordan Love threw for just 145 yards with two touchdowns and the offense went 1 for 9 on third down. Lukas Van Ness saved it with back to back sacks in overtime and a career high 9 pressures.

New York Giants

NFC East · 1-1

The Monday night trip to Los Angeles went wrong immediately. Jaxson Dart hurt his left knee on the opening drive and was ruled out in the third quarter of a 28-6 loss, with Jameis Winston managing 111 yards in relief. Jevon Holland was everywhere with an interception, two forced fumbles and a recovery. Dart's knee is the whole story this week.

Pittsburgh Steelers

AFC North · 1-1

Three points in New England is a bad look for an offense with this much experience. Aaron Rodgers went 23 of 39 for 187 yards with an interception and four sacks taken, his fifth straight start with one or fewer touchdown passes. The defense kept it respectable for a half. Mike McCarthy has a quarterback problem that nobody expected in September.

New Orleans Saints

NFC South · 1-1

After nearly stealing the opener in Detroit, New Orleans finished the job in Baltimore, winning 24-17 behind an efficient Tyler Shough performance: 27 of 34 for 252 yards with a touchdown through the air and another on the ground. Chris Olave caught 8 passes for 86 yards. Julian Blackmon ended it with an interception in the final seconds.

New York Jets

AFC East · 1-1

The Jets had a double digit fourth quarter lead and lost it, their first time doing so since 2020 after 14 straight wins in that spot. Geno Smith was steady with 247 yards and no interceptions, but he was sacked on back to back plays in overtime and New York muffed two punts. Close is progress for this roster, but it still stings.

Arizona Cardinals

NFC West · 1-1

The Week 1 upset in Los Angeles looks like an outlier after a 31-7 home loss to Seattle. Jacoby Brissett threw for 95 yards, Arizona gained 151 total yards at 3.2 per play, and the Cardinals have now lost eight in a row at home. Trey McBride caught 8 passes but for only 41 yards. Nothing worked after the first quarter.

Houston Texans

AFC South · 0-2

Houston has thrown it 55 times in a game and still cannot score. C.J. Stroud piled up 353 yards without a touchdown in a 20-6 loss to Cincinnati, and the Texans finished with 18 rushing yards on 14 carries. Dalton Schultz was the lone bright spot with 12 catches for 140 yards. An 0-2 start with this roster is a genuine crisis.

Indianapolis Colts

AFC South · 0-2

Indianapolis went to Kansas City and took the Chiefs to overtime before losing 33-30. Jonathan Taylor ran for 92 yards and two touchdowns and Daniel Jones threw for 210, but the defense surrendered 523 yards. There is something to build on here, and at 0-2 with the schedule ahead, moral victories only go so far.

Los Angeles Chargers

Two home games, two losses, and the quarterback play has fallen apart. Justin Herbert threw two interceptions and lost a fumble in a 26-14 loss to Las Vegas, finishing with a 59.5 rating. Omarion Hampton ran well with 94 yards and a score. Derwin James Jr. and David Njoku both left hurt, and Njoku was carted off.

Washington Commanders

NFC East · 0-2

Washington is 0-2 and now without its quarterback. Jayden Daniels dislocated his left elbow in a 37-20 loss at Dallas, the same injury he dealt with in 2025, though imaging showed no fracture. Marcus Mariota threw for 111 yards in relief. The defense gave up 203 yards in the second quarter alone and has no answers.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

NFC South · 0-2

Another turnover, another loss. Baker Mayfield threw for 182 yards with a touchdown and an interception in a 23-19 home loss to Cleveland that was delayed more than two hours by lightning. Bucky Irving ran for 89 yards and kept the offense upright. Tampa Bay has now lost both games despite leading in each, and the margins are not improving.

Tennessee Titans

AFC South · 0-2

The Titans played Philadelphia to the final nine seconds and lost 24-20. Cam Ward was efficient with 183 yards and two rushing touchdowns, Amani Hooker returned an interception 92 yards for a score, and the defense sacked Jalen Hurts three times. Tennessee is winless but no longer looks overmatched, which is a real step from Week 1.

Atlanta Falcons

NFC South · 0-2

A 34-3 home loss to Carolina was the worst performance of the week anywhere. Cooper Rush threw two interceptions before being benched in the third quarter, rookie Jack Strand threw a pick six in relief, and Atlanta managed three points. Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa were both unavailable, and the quarterback situation is now the whole season.

Miami Dolphins

Miami fell behind 35-6 in San Francisco before a late touchdown made it 35-13. Malik Willis threw for 197 yards and took four sacks, and De'Von Achane ran 20 times for 74 yards. Third down conversions improved from 20 percent to 47 percent, which is the only positive to point at. Two games, two double digit losses.
